THE WAY TO HEAVEN
Be honest and ask yourself how many of The 10 Commandments have you ever violated?
1.Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Has God held first place in your life, above the gods of pleasure, sports, money, and ambition?
2.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. Are spiritual matters more important to you than material things?
3.Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain. Have you always used the names of Jesus, Christ, and God in a reverent manner?
4.Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Do you set aside time each week to worship God?
5.Honor thy father and thy mother. Have you always shown proper respect for your parents?
6.Thou shalt not kill. Have you ever been angry at anyone?
7.Thou shalt not commit adultery. Have you ever engaged in premarital sex or been unfaithful to your spouse?
8.Thou shalt not steal. Have you ever stolen anything? Have you ever cheated on a test or plagiarized?
9.Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. Have you ever told a lie? Have you ever slandered someone?
10.Thou shalt not covet. Have you ever had a strong desire for the possessions of others? The Ten Commandments -- Exodus 20:3-17.
Have you ever broken any of Gods laws? The Bible says we have!
" Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." ADULTERY: "Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart." Matthew 5:28 Have you ever lusted? If so, you are an adulterer in God's eyes because lust is the moral equivalent to adultery. MURDER: "Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer. and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him." I John 3:15 Have you ever hated anyone? If so, God considers you a murderer because your heart attitude is the same as a murderer's. IDOLATRY: ... Covetousness, which is idolaty." Colossians 3:5 Have you ever been greedy, covetous, or dissatisfied with your portion in life? If so, God regards you as an idolater because the objects you have strongly desired have taken God's rightful place in your life.
What is the greatest question in life?
The greatest question is, "Where will you spend eternity?"
Has anyone ever explained to you God's simple plan of salvation, as given in the Bible? On whose terms would you want to meet God? -- Your church, or your family, or your own, or the Bible?
Man's ways are not God's ways!! Proverbs 16:25 says, "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Isaiah 55:8 says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord."
Our problem is that sin separates us from God. God is holy, pure, righteous and sinless. Ecclesiastes 7:20 says, "For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not." Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
What are the wages of sin? Romans 6:23 says, "The wages of sin is death."
Since all have sinned, then where will all go to get their wages? The answer? Hell! Do you fear hell? Jesus says we should! Matthew 10:28 says, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
Do you know why Jesus warned us to fear hell? He knew how bad it is, that its consequences are fearful, and that it is eternal! God's word shows a preview of hell! (Luke 16:23-31) The man in hell was in torment! The man in hell prayed, but too late! The man in hell was eternally separated from God by "a great gulf fixed". But all men will not go to hell! While there is the broad way that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13), there is also the narrow way (Christ, John 14:6) that leads to life eternal (Matthew 7:14).
Which way are you going? Extra!! Good news!! God loves us!! Christ died for us!! John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Read also 1 Peter 2:24 & 2 Corinthians 5:21. Jesus Christ is the only bridge from this world to the world to come. He said in John 14:6, "I am the way." Salvation is not of works. Ephesians 2:8&9 says, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Read also, Romans 4:5,6 & Titus 3:5.
Salvation is a gift from God to us!! Revelation 22:17 says, "Whosoever will, let him take---." What two actions can we take when offered a gift? We can receive, or refuse. John 1:12 says, "As many as received Him, to them gave He power (authority) to become the sons of God even to them that believe on His name." Christ said in John 10:9, "I am the door." And in John 6:37 He said, "Him that cometh to me, I will in no wise cast out." Why wait? God said in Genesis 6:3, "My spirit shall not always strive with man."
How much time have you to live? 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."
Here is a prayer of acceptance: "Lord Jesus, I am a sinner! I repent of my sins. Thank you forgiving me of my sins! I believe that died for me on the cross and rose from the dead on the third day, and I now receive you as my personal Lord and Savior!" in Jesus' name I pray, Amen!
I pray that the Scriptures above will speak to you, and that you will respond, and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and be assured to enter the kingdom of God (Heaven) ? If you have responded to God in this simple way, then you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Even though you may not be able to feel it there, a deposit of God's own life has been placed in your heart in the form of His Spirit. This deposit, as it is maintained through continuing acts of Faith in God and His Word, is all that is sufficient to comfort and guide you through all coming trials and temptations that you will experience in your new life as a Christian. To help you stay strong in this Faith, you will want to begin participating in the following activities:
1. Attend a Gospel-preaching church regularly: "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together." Hebrews 10:25
2. Read God's Word daily: "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15
3. Spend time each day in prayer: "My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up." Psalm 5:3
4. Live each moment for the Lord: "Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him." Colossians 3:17
5. Tell others the good news! Now that God has entered into your heart, you have a testimony! As God opens doors for you to share your testimony with others, you do not have to feel shy or afraid. If you trust Him, God will lead your thoughts and words. "That if thou shall confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9,10.
Welcome to the family of God,
Did you know that only 2% of Christians tell others about how they can be saved through Jesus Christ? I pray that all Christians that read this will get serious and help Christ in winning souls! Every day 150,000 people die around the world. Many of them end up in hell! Do you want any of your family, friends or any person to suffer in hell for eternity? ***THE GREAT COMMISSION*** is a special calling from Jesus Christ to all His followers to take specific action while on this earth. GO TELL OTHERS HOW THEY CAN BE SAVED THROUGH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST! Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Remember that by giving out the Gospel you are offering the greatest
gift in the world! we are offering lost people eternal salvation through
our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!
Why should you give out tracts? Here are 10 reasons:
They are a very economical form of evangelism
They work while we sleep
They have the ability to get into a house and stay there
They are never afraid or show cowardice
They are never tempted to compromise their message
They never get tired, discouraged or give up
They stick to what they have to say and never argue
They can present the message when don't have time
They can go to places where we cannot
They get people in the mood – they only speak when they are read
Fellowship Tract League offers many awesome Gospel tracts for FREE!
The Gospel message on this web site was taken from a tract published & written by "Ace" Edewards: ( What is the greatest question in life?) About the author: "Ace" Edewards was born in New Zealand, Michigan in 1916. He attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He was a senior pastor of a church in New Zealand, Michigan, and in Sacramento, California. After that, he served as an evangelist with the Friends of Israel ministry for many years, which he loved and enjoyed. He died in August, 2000. Even in death, his witness lives on! Permission to use the tract was given by the Edewards family.

Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, CA Pastor Chuck Smith Dies. Pastor Chuck Smith, considered one of the major catalysts of the Jesus Movement of the '60s and '70s, died after a battle with lung cancer at the age of 86 on Thursday October 3, 2013. Pastor Chuck Smith preached & my eyes were opened. I was born again at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, California in April of 1984. Thank you Lord Jesus for Pastor Chuck Smith! I will miss him. My prayers & thoughts go out to his family! I crashed my car head on into a brick wall drunk out of my mind at 55 MPH & my best friend was killed. My dad died on November 29, 1982, while I was away at college in Kansas on a running scholarship. I started drinking to cope with the loss of my dad! My coach kicked me off the track team for drinking too many beers, and getting out of control. In March of 1984 I was partying with some friends in the parking lot of the United Artist's Cinemas in Santa Ana, California where I worked. At the end of the evening I was driving home drunk out of my mind, and a friend of mine named Brett was a passenger in the car. I lost control of the car and crashed into a brick wall. I lived but my friend Brett died. This was a wake up call to me! Jesus Christ pulled me out of a pit and has blessed me in so many ways! My sins are forgiven and I have eternal life through Jesus Christ!
God bless you richly,
A servant of the King of Kings my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ,
Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational Christian church which began in 1965 in Costa Mesa, California. Calvary Chapel's pastor, Chuck Smith became a leading figure in what has become known as the "Jesus Movement." It has been estimated that in a two-year period in the mid '70s, Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa had performed well over eight thousand baptisms. During that same period, we were instrumental in 20,000 conversions to the Christian faith. Our decadal growth rate had been calculated by church growth experts to be near the ten thousand percent level. A remarkable pattern kept repeating itself. As soon as we moved into a new building, our fellowship would already be too big for the facilities. In two years we moved from our original building (one of the first church buildings in Costa Mesa) to a rented Lutheran church overlooking the Pacific. Soon thereafter we decided to do something unprecedented at the time and move the church to a school that we had bought. The building did not match up to code so we tore it down and built another. But by the time the sanctuary of 330 seats was completed in 1969, we were already forced to go to two services, and eventually had to use the outside courtyard for 500 more seats. This was all fine in good weather. But by 1971 the large crowds and the winter rains forced us to move again. We bought a ten-acre tract of land on the Costa Mesa/Santa Ana border. Orange County was quickly changing and the once-famous orange orchards were making way for the exploding population of Los Angeles. Soon after buying the land, we again did the unprecedented and erected a giant circus tent that could seat 1,600 at a stretch. This was soon enlarged to hold 2,000 seats. Meanwhile we began building an enormous sanctuary adjacent to this site. By the time Calvary Chapel fellowship had celebrated opening day in 1973 moving into the vast new sanctuary of 2,200 seats, the building was already too small to contain the numbers turning out. We held three Sunday morning services and had more than 4,000 people at each one. Many had to sit on the carpeted floor. A large portion of floor space was left without pews so as to provide that option. Calvary Chapel also ministers over the airwaves, and this must account for many of those who travel long distances to fellowship here. A Nielsen survey indicated that our Sunday morning Calvary Chapel service is the most listened-to program in the area during the entire week. As of 1987, Calvary's outreach has included numerous radio programs, television broadcasts, and the production and distribution of tapes and records. The missions outreach is considerable. Calvary Chapel not only supports Wycliffe Bible Translators, Campus Crusade, Missionary Aviation Fellowship, and other groups, but we donate to Third World needs. We then built a radio station in San Salvador and gave it to the local pastors there. We also gave money to Open Doors to purchase the ship that, in tandem with a barge, delivered one million Bibles to mainland China. Our financial commitment to missions exceeds the local expense budget by over 50%. Today, Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa, the church which only had twenty-five members, has now established 1358 affiliate Calvary Chapels across the world and is among the world's largest churches with 20,000+ calling it their home church. It is one of the ten largest Protestant churches in the United States.
We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our web site. God bless you! Mark & Kirsten Howard
